The start of the 2023 Betfred Play-Offs got underway this weekend, with Hull KR and St Helens progressing to the final four, where they will join Wigan Warriors and Catalans Dragons. Here is a look at how some of the England stars performed this weekend.

Friday night saw Hull KR defeat the Leigh Leopards.

Once again, Mikey Lewis played a huge role for the Robins. Lewis made 190 metres during the contest from 21 carries. Hooker, Jez Litten also played a part as he came on from the bench during the victory. The win will see Hull KR travel to Wigan on Saturday.

In the other fixture, Jack Welsby received the Player of the Match award for his contribution during St Helens’ victory over the Warrington Wolves. Welsby made 153 metres and 10 tackle busts on Saturday afternoon.

Alex Walmsley made an impact from the bench on just his second appearance since the injury suffered in the Challenge Cup Semi-Final. The prop made an average carry of over 10 metres, with 136 made from 13 carries of the ball.

Loose forward, Morgan Knowles produced a huge defensive stint during his 45 minutes on the pitch. Knowles made 36 tackles during this time and carried the ball for over 100 metres.

Jonny Lomax, Lewis Dodd, Matty Lees and Mark Percival all played their part as the Saints put themselves just 80 minutes away from another Betfred Super League Grand Final.

In defeat, Matty Ashton also made over 100 metres. Danny Walker, George Williams and Matty Nicholson all featured for the Wolves.
